A magical evening of
Shakespeare & Beer…
Saturday, February 15th, 2020 | 5:30 – 9:00 PM
SBCAST | 513 Garden Street
Nearly five years since the original event, some of the cast and crew have come together to create a new interpretation of ShakeSBeer. Taking inspiration from the great love stories of Shakespeare, a new story will be told to highlight Valentine’s Day. From Romeo & Juliet to Venus & Adonis, explore the great couples of Shakespeare’s works during this evening of immersive theater.

Join our cast for a magical evening of Shakespeare and beer! Held on Valentine’s Day Weekend at the Santa Barbara Center for Art, Science, & Technology (SBCAST), this unique event will take the audience through a tale of Shakespearean love and themes by weaving together scenes, monologues, and lines from a collection of Shakespeare’s works. From Rosencrantz & Guildenstern in a hot tub to Titania & Bottom in a fairy den, walk through rooftop gardens and immersive environments as you experience the dynamic architecture of SBCAST while tasting ten special beers crafted around the featured characters. With live Elizabethan-fusion music and interpretive aerial dance performances by Elevated Dreams, this will be a night of theater, dance, and beer not to be missed!

Doors will open at 5:30 pm. Performances will take place between 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Please arrive early to ensure seating and a smooth event.
This is a 21+ Event. Please bring a valid, government-issued ID. ShakeSBeer is held downtown and is easily accessible. Please do not drink and drive. Designated Driver Tickets are available for purchase.
